The Capitol rioter, John Sullivan, is accused of already violating the release conditions by going on social media

John Sullivan, a self-described left-wing activist arrested for participating in the Capitol riot, is accused of violating the terms of his release. Sullivan got a release while awaiting trial, as long as he stayed off social media, got a mental health assessment and held a full-time position. However, U.S. Attorney General Josh Cahoon claimed in court reports that Sullivan had violated the order to stay away from social media on four separate occasions. A judge has issued a summons to Sullivan.

Sullivan claims he was a Black Lives Matter organizer who was merely at the Capitol to film the events, but his own footage shows him breaking a window and shouting, ‘We need to get this shit burned … it’s our houses! ‘ BLM organizers in his home state of Utah denied him, describing him as a thorn in our side. ‘
