On March 14, BTS will perform during the 2021 Grammy Awards. The Korean band is nominated for best pop duo / group performance for their song “Dynamite.”
Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are known for delivering star performances as BTS. Their 2021 Grammy performance is unlikely to be an exception. To prepare for BTS’s upcoming Grammy performance, here’s a look back at their best awards.

BTS’s 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards Stage Shows Rising Stars
At 2016 MAMA performed BTS ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ and ‘Fire’. The group released ‘Fire’ as a single in 2016 with their compilation album, The most beautiful moment in life: young forever. “Blood Sweat & Tears” was the main single for their album in 2016 Wings.
At the beginning of the MAMA set, Jimin and J-Hope performed a synchronized dance on ‘Boy Meets Evil’ while blindfolded. Jin, Suga, RM, V and Jungkook joined them on stage for ‘Blood Sweat and Tears’.

At the end of ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’, V and Jin repeated a scene from the music video of the song. This led to the powerful performance of the K-pop group “Fire”.
Not only did 2016 MAMA prove that BTS has a skill set, but it also predicted that their steady rise would become one of the best music performances in the world.
BTS’s 2018 MAMA performance of ‘Fake Love’ stands out
For anyone who wants to try to convince their friends to become ARMY, BTS’s performance of “Fake Love” at MAMA in 2018 is a great place to start. The band released the song as a single with their album Love yourself: tear.
“Fake Love” has one of BTS’s most difficult choreographies to date, and for the awards season, the orchestra added a dance break during the intermission of the song, making it even more challenging.
As they move through the intricate dance movies, it is clear that the microphones of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook are turned on. The puppet-themed dance break at the end of the song cites the performance as one of the best of BTS.
The orchestra’s Melon Music Awards performance in 2019 is in its own league
BTS’s performance on MMA in 2019 is still the best performance. In 2019, the band is hampered by the Recording Academy and has not received any nominations for their EP Map of the Soul: Persona.
At MMA in 2019, BTS essentially proved that they were not from the Grammy Awards league with their performance. In a set of almost 40 minutes, the septet performed ‘Intro: Persona’, ‘Boy in Luv’, ‘Boy With Luv’, ‘Microcosm’ and ‘Dionysus’.
The MMA performance took fans back through the discography of the group and showcased each member’s talent and execution style. The septet’s show-stop performance of “Dionysus” concludes the set, and it shows that the only act that can surpass BTS is BTS.
BTS’s Grammy Award in 2021 will be broadcast on CBS on March 14 at 20:00 ET.
