When Adam wrote our Kidney: Automata review, he did not have much trouble with the PC port. Others, unfortunately, were not so fortunate, and mudslingers have stepped in over the past few years to fix graphics, performance, and quality of life issues that Square Enix and Platinum Games could not handle.
Now a new version of the game is available on a computer that solves many of the problems while adding new graphic bells and whistles. The catch: it’s only available through the Windows Store and Xbox Game Pass, and not via Steam.
