Sir David Attenborough Welcomes Joe Biden’s Victory in US Presidential Election – Emphasizes America’s Importance in Combating Climate Change

Sir David Attenborough welcomed Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election and emphasized America’s importance in the fight against climate change.

Mr. Biden has vowed to rejoin the Paris climate agreement on the first day of his presidency, after Donald Trump controversially removed Washington.

The international agreement aims to limit global warming.

Sir David, a passionate environmental campaigner, said: “Of course” was the victory of Mr. Pray for the world in November, adding “how can I deny it?”

Sir David, a passionate environmental campaigner, said:

In conversation with the Radio Times, the beloved naturalist (94) discusses the USA returning to the climate change table.

He said: ‘This is of the utmost importance. The most important power in the world and the most important economic power in the world?

“Of course, it is absolutely essential that it be a party to all of this, and if we are to find a solution with international agreements, America’s presence is out of the question.”

Sir David, who recently worked on the Netflix documentary A Life On Our Planet, is a fearless traveler and has made films from around the world.

However, his flying days may be over. Asked if he will ever travel overseas again to film, he says ‘no, not much’.

Sir David added: ‘It’s probably a fact of age, but I have found that my heart sinks deeper and deeper into my boots, every time I board a plane and look down into the long line and think,’ I going to be here for another 24 hours. ‘

“It did not make my heart rise with pleasure.”
