Comedian Chris D’Elia was last accused of sexual misconduct
Comedian and “You” actor Chris D’Elia is accused of sexual misconduct with several underage girls.

Eight months after Chris D’Elia was accused of sexual misconduct, the comedian deals with the allegations in a ten-minute YouTube video titled ‘Its been awhile’ shared on Friday.
D’Elia begins the video by acknowledging his time away from the spotlight, but notes that he wants to continue his business as usual, but he feels it would be the best time to reflect and be with his family. The comedian doubled his statement last year, saying everything he did was ‘legal and consensus’.
In September 2020, two women came forward to accuse D’Elia of sexual misconduct, claiming the comedian had exposed himself to them without their consent. This follows a flood of accusations that D’Elia received on social media in June that he had inappropriate messages with teenage girls. The podcast host issued a statement denying the allegations at the time, saying all his relationships were legal and consensual.
“I know it looks bad and it does not show the full extent of what happened. I stand by that all my relationships were consensus and legal, and that’s just it. It’s the truth,” the “U” said. actor said in the video Friday.
The actor “Good Doctor” admitted that he has a problem with sex and said that he sought therapy and professional medical help.
“What I understood was that for me it’s always about sex. My life was … I mean, sex, it controlled my life. It was the focus, it was my focus all the time. And I “I have a problem, and I do have a problem,” said D’Elia. “It’s not like months are better. I have to work on it.”

The comedian also reflected on how comfortable he treated sex when he first started doing stand-up, noting that it was easy for him to have because of how many women would send him after his shows.
“I can just do a show and then have sex,” D’Elia said, adding that his perspective has changed since then. “To do that is to treat sex as if it’s comfortable and flipping with people and it’s not the man I want to be. It’s not OK, and I’m sorry for that. It makes me feel ashamed and I feel bad. “
D’Elia went on to say that he has cheated in most of his relationships, including the relationship he is in now with fiancée Kristin Taylor.
“And this is my dream girl, this is the girl I want to be with for the rest of my life and even that will not stop what I do,” D’Elia said.
He continues: “I have a chance here to apologize to the people caught up in those (explicit) lies I would tell my fiancé, my friends … I’m sorry.”
In June 2020, allegations that D’Elia was carrying inappropriate messages with underage teenage girls flooded social media after Twitter user Simone Rossi accused him of ‘caring for’ her when she was 16 years old.
D’Elia responded to the allegations in a statement to the U.S. TODAY: “I know I said and did things that could offend people in my career, but I never pursued any underage woman. not point, “he said.” I have never met or exchanged inappropriate photos with the people who tweeted about me. “
Three months later, two more women came forward and accused him of sexual misconduct.
D’Elia’s attorney, Andrew Brettler, denied the allegations in a statement to the U.S. TODAY.
“D’Elia denies these allegations, stating that he never had sexual intercourse with any woman without her consent,” Brettler said.
