A Louisiana woman who went viral online because she used Gorilla Glue on her hair after running out of her hair spray traveled to Beverly Hills on Wednesday to get help from a plastic surgeon.
The doctor offered to help after seeing a video of the female woman in Louisiana. Tessica Brown arrived in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning on her way to the plastic surgeon dr. Michael Obeng in Beverly Hills.
He offered to help after watching a video on Brown on TikTok, admitting that when she ran out of her regular hair product, she used Gorilla Glue spray glue, and that her hair did not move in a month.
Brown documented her suffering online. She made a turn in the emergency room, but it did not help. Nor help from a friend who cut off her ponytail.
A GoFundMe page raised more than $ 18,000.
In an interview with TMZ, Brown said she is still in pain.
‘The headache got worse, the tingling got worse. “We could think of nothing else to do, and I went to social media with it,” she said.
Dr. Obeng asked her videos to offer help. He is originally from Ghana. He has a charity that provides free medical services and has experience with burnt offerings.

Gorilla Glue tweeted a statement saying, ‘This is a unique situation because this product is not indicated for use in or on hair as it is considered permanent. Our spray adhesive is labeled ‘Do not swallow’. Do not get in the eyes, on the skin or on the clothes. ‘”
Late this afternoon, dr. Obeng said after working on Brown for more than an hour, the procedure was successful.
‘We had to use chemicals that were safe and would not cause burns to the scalp. “The scalp is healthy and she is doing well,” he said.
