Zachery Ty Bryan pleaded guilty in his domestic violence case as part of a plea deal with prosecutors.

The 39-year-old actor was arrested in Oregon in October last year after a physical altercation with his girlfriend.

The stars of the home improvement pleaded guilty to two charges of threatening and assault in the fourth degree, according to an article Tuesday by TMZ.

Two charges of strangulation and coercion were dismissed along with several charges of misconduct as part of the plea agreement.

Bryan will be put on probation for three years as part of the plea agreement and must complete a domestic abuse intervention program within that period.

Bryan was arrested in October after an altercation at his apartment in Eugene, Oregon.

In an arrest warrant, Bryan is accused of dragging his girlfriend out of bed by her hair, beating her repeatedly and suffocating her after he flew furiously over a missing cellphone charger.

Bryan was arrested just two weeks after divorcing his 14-year-old wife.

The Colorado resident is best known for his portrayal of Brad Taylor in the sitcom Home Improvement in the 1990s.

Bryan married his high school sweetheart, Carly Matros, in 2007 and they have six-year-old twin daughters Taylor and Gemma, four-year-old daughter Jordana and 23-month-old son Pierce.

The victim in the October incident told police she had been in a relationship with Bryan for two years.

Bryan took to Instagram on October 1, 2020 to announce that he and Sailor were planning to divorce.

He later removed the post announcing the split after it emerged he had copied the text word-for-word from actor Armie Hammer’s post when he divorced his wife last year.
