[WATCH]The Walking Dead’s Last Season To Debut On August 22 – Deadline

The Walking Dead comes back much earlier than usual to start his small screen swan song.

AMC revealed during tonight’s Here’s Negan ‘season 10c finale that the zombie apocalypse series based on Robert Kirkman’s comics will have its 11th and final season on August 22nd.

Packed with images of US law enforcement agencies and urban life in a state of abandonment, a judicious reference to vaccines and a look at more of the powerful Commonwealth, the teasing promises to return to a very big picture TWD for the mega 24 episode last season – as you can see below:

“Because of the six additional episodes for season 10, which focus on smaller, character-driven stories, we’m excited to start season 11 bigger than ever,” TWD the forerunner Angela Kang promises of the final round. ‘The stakes will be high – we’ll try more zombies, tons of action, intriguing new stories, places never seen before, and see our groups together for the first time in one community, trying to rebuild what the Whisperers from then on, ”the EP added from the end of the once-blockbuster TWD, which was first launched on September 9, 2020.

It’s going to go well in 2022 and with a spin-off already underway for Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s favorite characters, the final season of TWD is released in blocks of about eight episodes each. Unlike previous AMC mega-programs like Break bad and Mal mans, which divides their respective closing cycles into two, TWD begins its 11th season with eight episodes and then with two more pieces to follow.

Even in a schedule spun by the coronavirus pandemic and its ongoing effect on production, the coming August begins TWD is much more in line with the spin-off debut dates Fear The Walking Dead as the concluding mother show. Until this long-running final season, every cycle of TWD began in October, starting with the Halloween premiere of the six-season first season in 2010.

In a sense, the 24-episode last season of TWD is actually but a small extension of the current 10th season.
