Valorant pro Sinatraa suspended after allegations of sexual assault

Jay “Sinatraa” Won, one of the biggest competing names Brave, was suspended from the game and by his team after allegations of sexual assault. In a statement posted on tuesday, Cleo Hernandez, posted a lengthy report of her nine-month relationship with Won, outlining a disturbing history of physical and emotional abuse, supported by audio recordings and screenshots of messages.

“I have avoided talking about any aspect of my and Jay’s relationship for more than a year,” Hernandez wrote. “I never talked about it, mostly because it’s scary, and also because I’ve seen women being treated in our community when they try to talk about being hurt by prominent people.”

Won is a former Ear Watch League MVP who made the switch to Brave last year. Since Hernandez’s allegations, developer Riot Won has been suspended from the game, saying he has not Brave Championship tournament competition taking place this weekend. “We are aware of the current situation regarding Jay Won and have launched an investigation,” said Alex Francois, Riot’s global head of competitive operations, said in a statement.

Simiarly, the team of Won, Sentinels, launched its own investigation and suspended the player. “While the investigation is still pending, he is suspended from the team,” Sentinels said in a statement. “We will provide a further update once the investigation is completed.”

Won has to make another statement.
