Along with the release of the Unova Pokémon Munna, the Valentine’s Day event brings a new knocking rotation to Pokémon GO.
The complete knockout rotation in Pokémon GOValentine’s Day event, along with our tips, are as follows:
Flat one
- Espurr
- Feebas – Shiny capable, increased chance
- Illumise – Shining capable, standard chances
- Munna
- Ralts – Shining, standard chances
- Volbeat – Shining, standard chances
Nothing too crazy here. If you do not have a shiny fairy bark, it has a fairly increased shiny rate, but it is not uncommon in nature during events. I suggest you save your passports, because if you are a long-term player, you will have no problem eventually adding the purple fish to your collection. Munna is a species to check if you want one with an IV floor, but it is available differently in nature.
Level three
- Alomomola – Shiny able, chance still unknown
- Espeon
- Gardevoir
- Gallade
- Togeties
- Umbreon
Alomomola in Poaching is a good shot at a fairly rare species, even without its shiny release, but Niantic pulls fast and has indeed secretly released Shiny Alomomola for the occasion. It is currently only expected to be available during raids and missions.
Level five
- Latias – Brilliant, standard legendary chance of about one in every 20
- Latios – Brilliantly capable, standard legendary chance of about one in every 20
The twin Dragon / Psychic types continue their Tier Five reign, and we still have some time to get behind them. While the Valentine’s Day event takes place on Thursday, Latias / os will only depart on Saturday 20 February at the beginning of Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto, after which the Legendary Birds and Mewtwo take over.
Mega Raids
- Mega Ampharos – Shiny capable, standard Mega Raid chance of about one in every 60
- Mega Gyarados – Bright, standard Mega Raid chance of about one in every 60
- Mega Pidgeot – Brilliant, standard Mega Raid chances of about one in every 60
It continues from the previous rotation, and probably the most useful in the long run here is going to be Gyarados. Remember, however, that the Moon New Year event gave us free Mega Gyarados energy through timely research.
Whatever raids you do, congratulations out there, man Pokémon GO coaches!
