Vaccinations are available for eligible Alameda County residents – NBC Bay Area

Vaccination appointments at the first dose of COVID-19 are available to Alameda County residents 16 years and older and those working in the province in sectors considered to be at increased risk for exposure.

Eligible job sectors are housekeepers, including house cleaners, in any industry; public transport workers, including airports and commercial airlines; emergency services workers; workers in food and agriculture, including restaurants, groceries, convenience stores; and education and child care workers.

Those who qualify can sign up for an appointment at Berkeley Public Health’s Mass Vaccination Center in Buchanan St. 1 in Albany. Once an appointment is scheduled, an email will be sent confirming the date and time. Appointments will be verified with identification on the website. Registrants will not be asked about immigration status. Auxiliary staff will assist you in planning a second dose appointment in the post-vaccination region after the shot has been given.
