TI and Tiny deny allegations of sexual assault of three more women Rap

Rapper TI and his wife Tiny have denied allegations of sexual abuse of three women and added to denials earlier this year after four other women made similar allegations.

New York lawyer Tyrone A Blackburn announced on Friday that he was “talking to investigators from various jurisdictions to bring criminal charges” after the new allegations.

One woman claims that the couple forced her to take drugs in 2010 and then took her to a hotel for sex where ‘she could not consent’. Another woman claims TI, real name Clifford Harris, and a male friend drugged and raped her in a hotel room, also in 2010. The third woman claims she was intoxicated and ‘sexually trafficked’ in Nevada, California and Florida ‘.

In a statement to Billboard, the couple’s lawyer Steve Sadow said: ‘The Harrises are still waiting for the accused to reveal themselves. By continuing to hide behind anonymous allegations, the anonymous accused effectively do not make themselves credible and unworthy of believing. We say: let the light shine on their identity so that we can proceed to refute these harsh accusations. ”

TI was once one of the most popular rappers in the US and topped eight Top 10 albums, three of which topped the charts between 2006 and 2008. He also has a successful acting career, appearing in Marvel’s Ant-Man franchise and more, and has starred in numerous reality TV series.

Tiny, aka Tameka Harris, was a member of the R&B group Xscape, which was also known for co-writing the TLC hit No Scrubs. She and TI were married in 2010 and filed for divorce in 2016, but reconciled the following year.

In March, four women accused the Harrises of drugging and sexually assaulting them. Two of them reported in the New York Times in 2005 on the alleged abuse. One alleges that she was invited to the couple’s VIP area in a nightclub where her drink was picked, which left her unfit when the couple later sexually assaulted her in a hotel room.

Another woman claims the couple “forced her to do sexual acts with different women against her will” after forcing her to enter ecstasy. She claims other women told her that they had been abducted for several days and held against their will. Both women said they were threatened with violence when talking about the alleged attacks. Blackburn said he represented a total of 11 people, who said they were victimized by the couple or members of their entourage.

Sadow said the couple vehemently denied these unfounded and unjustified allegations, calling them “nothing more than the continuation of a reckless campaign that started on social media and is now trying to manipulate the press and abuse the justice system”.

In January, stylist Sabrina Peterson claims that TI once pulled a gun on her and then posted a series of anonymous allegations on Instagram of women claiming the Harrises drugged and sexually assaulted them. The Harrises said they “strongly deny Sabrina Peterson’s most disturbing allegations”.

In the wake of the initial allegations, representatives of the #MeToo movement, Time’s Up and the National Women’s Law Center expressed support for the accused and wrote: ‘To the black survivors who continue to emerge in the face of what is like feel insurmountable obstacles. and setback: thank you, we see you, and we keep space for you. We reaffirm our commitment to end sexual violence. ”
