The World Ends with You Anime event will be booked on March 1

Details on the upcoming online event for The world ends with you anime will be unveiled on March 1, 2021 according to the official Twitter account for the show.

The occasion was first mentioned back on February 5, 2021 in a tweet from the same account. It is said that the event would be worldwide for fans, and an art exhibition and a preview of the first episode of The world ends with you: the animation. We’ve already seen a ‘rap version’ of the series’ opening series, with the song ‘TEENAGE CITY RIOT’, by ALI and the Creepy Nuts rapper, R-Shitei.

It was also possible to watch part of the first episode when it aired on September 18, 2020 in Japan. This was the start of a special event called The 7 Days Campaign hosted on the official Twitter account. It is unclear how much of the new material, which has never been seen before, will be shown at the upcoming event.

The anime is based on Square Enix’s Nintendo DS game, The world ends with you. Shin-Ei is creating the animation, the same studio behind Doraemon and a newer studio that incorporates some of the 3D elements Gospel: 3.0. As with the game, Tetsuya Nomura offers character designs. The composer of the play, Takeharu Ishimoto, will also contribute.

The world ends with you: the animation
will be broadcast in Japan sometime in April 2021. The world ends with you is immediately available for the Nintendo DS, as well as the Nintendo Switch port, The World Ends with You: Final Mix.
