Asked about the state of rock music in light of their victory and whether the genre itself is still alive, Julian Casablancas, the longtime frontman, rebuked the idea that rock was dead, but added that the blues-influenced rock sound that bands like Led Zeppelin fired it. or Cream in the Sixties and Seventies – along with more polarizing performances like Greta Van Fleet today – went its course.
‘I think people who say that things are’ dead ‘feel that this means that their imagination may have died. There is room for so many music genres; not necessarily blues rock, please do not do that anymore, ‘Casablancas said after the victory. ‘All kinds of music genres can merge in so many ways.
