NBC’s streaming service from Peacock has a surprising treat on New Year’s Day for fans of The office: a cold opening never seen before, indicating the move of the show from Netflix to its new streaming home.
The final five-minute opening, unmatched, has been temporarily cut from the final series in 2013. The open is an extensive plan to convince Dwight that he lives The Matrix. Jim, Pam, a trained black cat, and the security guard Hank are all at stake.
The office now streaming on Peacock, with the first two seasons available for free, and Seasons 3-9 available for Premium subscribers.
