While we wait patiently for the next season of The Mandalorian and expect next season’s final of WandaVision on Disney +, the streamer unveiled a full range of shows during TCA on Wednesday that will keep fans happy for the foreseeable months. That said, there will be no shortage of Star Wars and marvel at content.
Disney announced it Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere its series on May 4, which is apt considering its Star Wars Day (aka “May the Fourth Be With You”). Meanwhile, the series premiered at Marvel Studios’ Loki will not be far behind as it hits Disney + on June 11th.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The clone wars) as they find their way into a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the clone war. Members of Bad Batch – a unique group of clones that are genetically different from their brothers in the Clone Army – each possess an exceptional skill that makes them exceptionally effective soldiers and a formidable crew.

Loki sees the return of Tom Hiddleston as the title character – who apparently never dies. The God of Evil will emerge from his brother Thor’s shadow in a new series that follows the events of Avengers: Endgame. Hiddleston will be joined by Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron directs Loki and Michael Waldron is lead author.
