Taylor Swift performs songs from ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ at the Grammys

Taylor Swift, who was nominated for six Grammy Awards on Sunday’s six nominations, has a three-song medley from her two pandemic albums, “Folklore” and “Evermore,” above – and then inside – a temporary home in ‘ performed a magical forest.

Swift was added for the underrated renditions by her two lead songwriters and production collaborators on the albums, Aaron Dessner of the National and Jack Antonoff, who moved through abridged versions of “Cardigan,” “August” and “Willow.”

‘Folklore’, which was released as a surprise in July, was responsible for five of Swift’s six nominations tonight – she was also excited for a song she wrote for the film ‘Cats’, but lost Billie Eilish in the preshow event – and would bring Win her third career album of the year if she wins. ‘Cardigan’, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, was also nominated for Song of the Year.

The song “Willow” comes from Swift’s second surprise album of the pandemic, “Evermore”, which was released in December, well after the Grammys’ deadline of August 31, and will be eligible for next year’s performance.
