Steph Curry leaves Klay Thompson hanging, spitting water in Warriors’ victory

Dub Nation counts down the days until they can see Klay Thompson and Steph Curry in the same backcourt together.

For now, fans will have to get ready for high-five … there, attempts at high-five … on the sidelines between the Splash Brothers.

During the Warriors’ powerful finish in Monday night’s 130-108 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry let Thompson hang while celebrating a big three-point as four of his 36-point night.

OK, so Steph is still getting used to having Thompson behind the bench for home games. They are rusty, but they will get their chemistry.

Curry still had fun while the Warriors defended the game by outscoring the Timberwolves 37-25 in the fourth quarter. When he returned to the floor after a timeout, Curry redefined the Splash Brother name as he laughed and spit water across the floor. Luckily, his teammates were there to cheer up the spill, while Curry eagerly watched to make sure every spot was dry.

The rookie Nico Mannion has to be a comedian or something, because Curry started right away. It’s also a good thing that the game was already underway at that point, so the Warriors could avoid a controversy with the Jason Kidd Water Cup.

But, seriously, who has more fun on the basketball court than Curry?
