“I want to see a federal investigation because I think there are criminal acts committed by the governor by his senior staff. I want a very public and transparent investigation,” she said. “I think he should resign if there is criminal cover, which I think exists.”
James, a Democrat, will be responsible for investigating the grand jury. Stefanik said it was encouraging that the Attorney General had started the investigation in the first place.
