Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis temporarily loses custody of her children

A year after they had a giant arrangement for parents, Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis temporarily lost custody of the two children she shares with her ex Thomas Ravenel.

Ravenel’s lawyer confirmed to People that the former reality star has temporarily regained custody of their children Kensie (six) and Saint (4) and that Dennis (29) will now be supervising them over the weekend.

Ravenel, 58, will move with them to Aiken, South Carolina, but the reason behind their change in custody rule remains a mystery due to the sealed court documents.

Ravenel filed to request that his ex visit be supervised on October 23, 2020, and on February 25, 2021, the temporary custody order was filled, according to Page Six.

In a statement given to People, Ravenel’s lawyer confirmed the new supervision agreement, but refused to disclose the circumstances that led to the change.

‘I can confirm the information released last week that Ms. Dennis is currently visiting under the supervision of the parties with minor children over the weekend and that Mr. Ravenel plans to move with the children to Aiken, South Carolina, this summer, ‘said Ravenel’s lawyer.

‘Due to the sensitive nature of the issues involved, all documents in this case have been sealed, which means that the public does not have access to them, and not Mr. Ravenel, me. Dennis, or their respective attorneys were not allowed to release it to third parties, ‘the statement continued.

“As such, and in accordance with the spirit of the protective order, I will not go into detail on the circumstances necessitating the changes to the parties’ custody arrangement.”

Dennis and Ravenel previously shared joint custody of their children, and the arrangement worked well for the ex, according to the Southern Charm star.

“We actually have a good relationship with each other,” she told Us Weekly in November 2019.

“It’s good for him, it’s good for me. We’re moving forward, this’s the first time I’ve said it in a long time and it feels good. ‘

The positive words are a contrast to their otherwise ugly surveillance battle, with Ravenel accusing Dennis of being addicted to prescription drugs and marijuana, among others. Dennis denied the allegations.

Ravenel and Dennis first started dating in 2013 before splitting in 2016 forever.

These days, both went on romantically.

Ravenel has since welcomed another child, a baby boy named Jonathan Jackson Heather Mascoe. The couple then became engaged.

Meanwhile, Dennis has started a relationship with Chleb Ravenell.
