A woman who claims to be the ex-girlfriend and personal assistant of Soulja Boy filed a case in the Los Angeles High Court on Thursday, accusing him of sexual assault and physical abuse.
The alleged victim, identified as Jane Doe, says Soulja Boy raped and assaulted her for nearly two years. According to the lawsuit, a month after he was hired in December 2018, the rapper started sending unsolicited photos of his penis.
She admitted that the two had a consensus relationship and that she moved in with him. However, the romance turned violent by January 2019 after she was allegedly pushed out of Soulja Boy’s vehicle and forced to walk five kilometers.
Jane Doe claims the rapper first sexually assaulted her in February 2019 and paid her $ 1,000 after he expressed his remorse. The accused also alleges that he spat on her in May 2019 when she expressed her desire to quit.
The lawsuit described Soulja Boy as jealous and punched her, kicked and stabbed her and allegedly told her: ‘I should have killed you. Doe further claims that on several occasions she was locked in a room without a mattress, food or water.
According to the accuser, the sexual assaults will sometimes occur twice a day. However, after one violent attack in August 2020, she moved. But when she returned the following month to collect her belongings, she was allegedly raped again. According to the lawsuit, Jane Doe was not paid for most of the 18 months she was employed.
“The way we treat our client as an employee and a person who deserves respect has traumatized her and filled her with fear,” said attorney Neama Rahmani. “His abuse severely imprisoned her physically, mentally and emotionally. When she mustered the courage to flee, he impoverished her. His exploitation severely undermined our client’s ability to re – establish herself in the workplace and in society. “We believe he should be held accountable.”
Jane Doe argues for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment and the administration of emotional distress. Soulja Boy denied the allegations.
