Sold Sunset star Chrishell Stause and ex-husband Justin Hartley end divorce

The sale of Sunset star Chrishell Stause and her ex-husband Justin Hartley ended their divorce more than a year after they announced they were divorced.

The reality personality (39) and the This Is Us actor (44) allegedly finalized their legal separation earlier this month after finally agreeing.

According to TMZ, a judge in California made the decision on February 8 after the couple revealed in November 2019 that they would go after two years of marriage and six years together separately.

This was reported by E! The news that the famous couple, who are both now in a new relationship, have decided the terms of their divorce last month.

While a source told Us Weekly: ‘Both parties have entered into a confidential settlement on the terms of the divorce, including marriage support’, confirming that the former couple did not sign a preview.

Chrishell and Justin first dated in 2014 after working together on Young and the Restless, before breaking the deadlock in October 2016 at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California.

Justin cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for filing for divorce and claims that he and Chrishell have been divorced since July 8, 2019, despite the fact that the couple was seen together several times after that specific date.

In her response submission, Chrishell listed the ‘date of divorce’ as November 22, 2019, which was contrary to the July divorce said by Justin.

During the explosive third series of Netflix that hit Selling Sunset, the actress Days of Our Lives claims that Justin informed her via SMS of his intention to divorce, just 45 minutes before the heartbreaking news was announced.

She told her friend and regular colleague Mary Fitzgerald: ‘I found out because he texted[ed] me that we have been submitted. Forty-five minutes later the world knew. ‘

Chrishell further stressed that ‘forty-five minutes’ was not enough time to prepare for the onslaught of questions they would likely receive from their mutual fans.

‘Because of the crazy way it went down, people want answers, and I want answers. I know people say we were only married for two years, but it’s like we were together for six years, ‘she explained passionately.

The TV star also referred to Justin’s divorce file as an ‘impulsive’ decision and that he would often use the same ‘I’m out’ approach during fights they have had in the past.

‘In a fight, it’s [Justin’s] go to, you know? she said. “Like, ‘I’m out, I’m out. ‘I hate that kind of impulsive thing, but I always just thought, you know, it’s just a problem we’re working through. If this is really what you want, there are better ways to go about it [it].

Chrishell explained that they never talked about divorce again, saying, “I talked to him right away because I thought it was going to be a joke, but it was an end to communication.”

A source told People at the time of the rift that the couple had been having problems for a while and that they were ‘fundamentally incompatible’ as a couple.

The source said: ‘Chrishell is really ready to just sit down and be a woman and stay home, and was hoping to start a family relatively soon.

‘Justin wants it, but also does not think it has to happen in the near future and is at a point in his career where he can really explore all the options that come his way.

‘He’s reached a new level of fame thanks to the show and he does not want to close many doors right now, and that’s not the way Chrishell wants to walk.

“She thought babies would happen soon after they got married, but it just didn’t work.”

Although the divorce was undoubtedly a difficult time for both of them, Chrishell and Justin have each entered into new relationships over the past few months.

Six months after the announcement in May 2020, Justin was seen kissing his former Young And Restless co-star Sofia Pernas when she dropped him off at a doctor’s appointment.

It was confirmed shortly afterwards that the couple started dating, but it is still unclear when they started their relationship.

They made Instagram their relationship on New Year’s Eve, as they each shared a few photos on their pages.

With Sofia writing: ‘Happy new year from our quarantine cavity to you’

And Justin said, ‘Last minutes of 2020 here in LA. Bring on 2021! Happy New Year!’

Shortly afterwards, Sofia brings their tribute on his 44th birthday and says, ‘Celebrate this man with my favorite screenshot. That smile !!! Lift my air. Happy Birthday, [darling]. ‘

Sofia was Justin’s character Adam Newman’s girlfriend on screen for almost a year, Marisa Sierras, but left shortly before Chrishell joined the show in 2016.

Chrishell only publicly acknowledged her sadness over Justin’s new relationship in September 2020 when she told People it was ‘painful’ to see him move on.

She said: “I feel that someone will be sad to see how quickly or easily you are replaced, of course it will sting.”

Meanwhile, after her time with Dancing With The Stars, Chrishell entered into a relationship with professional dancer Keo Motsepe, 31, who was with actress Anne Heche for the season.

Keo presumably chased Chrishell throughout the series for celebrity competitions, often relying on the star’s pro partner Gleb Savchenko, 37, to give tips.

In a sweet message posted on Instagram on December 3, Chrishell confirmed that she and Keo have decided to make love.

And things seem to be going well, with the couple returning to Mexico just before the end of December from a getaway.

Justin father the teenage daughter Isabella (16) with ex Lindsay Hartley (42) with whom he was married from 2004 to 2012.

While the actor remained a mother during his split from Chrishell, he confirmed he was in a good spot last year.

He told Entertainment Tonight in July 2020: ‘I’m a lucky guy. I sleep like a baby. I think nothing.

‘I treat people the way I want to be treated, and I have lovely friends who love me and I love them. And I have this wonderful daughter, and I have a wonderful family, and I am a very happy, happy individual. ‘
