Birders were in Central Park on Thursday looking for a rare visitor, a Snowy Owl, who had been spotted in the park the previous day.

Later it was seen sitting on the North Meadow.

The bird quickly became one of the main attractions in the city, and despite sub-freezing temperatures, it attracts large crowds in the park.
