On Friday, at just over 8 p.m., Penn, 60, sent an email to his CORE staff to communicate his anger with two employees who criticized his operation in the comments section of a recent New York Times article. . The LA Times received a copy of the email on Wednesday and published it.
According to the LA Times, one of the employees anonymously claimed that staff was overworked after Eric Garcetti, mayor of LA, switched the center from a COVID-19 test site to a vaccination center.
