Scott Rudin slammed as ‘insulting, racist and sexist’ by Megan Ellison – deadline

Megan Ellison did not spare Scott Rudin a quarter today.

“This piece hardly scratches the surface of Scott Rudin’s abusive, racist and sexist behavior,” the Annapurna CEO said online after a serious Hollywood Reporter front page story published today about alleged misconduct by the volatile EGOT producer.

“Just like Harvey is too scared to talk,” the Bomb EP added in the middle of the morning tweet. “I support and applaud those who have done so. There is good reason to be afraid because he is vindictive and has no lies. ”

As for Rudin and Weinstein, this is no second-hand insight from Ellison.

She is collaborating with Rudin as executive producer on the 10x Oscar-nominated Coen Brothers 2010 remake True Grit, distributed by Paramount. Ellison also helped direct a number of Weinstein films: as a producer Lawless and Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master and as an EP on The Grandmaster and Gently kill them.

The prolific Rudin, acclaimed by WME, stars Amy Adams, Anthony Mackie and Gary Oldman The woman in the window will be released on Netflix in May and reopened select movie theaters in America.

Prisoner Harvey Weinstein recently called for his 23-year sentence for sex offenses last year and ordered a new trial.
