Scott Rudin removed from five A24 film projects: sources – deadline

Not long after Scott Rudin issued a statement saying he would retire from film and TV projects to deal with the voluntary exit from theater projects he announced days ago, sources said Rudin had walked away from the five projects that he had with A24. A THR exposition by Tatiana Siegel on Rudin’s bullying of assistants and others who were powerless to do anything about it. There is no official comment or confirmation that Rudin’s name does not appear in the credits of these films. Here are the photos Rudin no longer produces for A24:

The tragedy of MacBeth, the Joel Coen director starring Denzel Washington, Frances McDormand, Brendan Gleeson, Ralph Ineson. Coen is now the sole producer.

The people, the Stephen Karam screenplay and directorial film starring Steven Yeun, Beanie Feldstein, Amy Schumer, June Squibb, Richard Jenkins, Jayne Houdyshell. Eli Bush is now the sole producer.

Red, white and water, the Lila Neugebauer directorial film starring Jennifer Lawrence, Bryan Tyree Henry, Samira Wiley and Stephen McKinley Henderson. Pic, with the screenplay by Luke Goebel, Ottessa Moshfegh, Elizabeth Sanders, is now produced by Bush, Jennifer Lawrence and Justine Polsky,

Everywhere All at once, the photo written and directed by Dan Kwan & Daniel Scheinert, starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, James Hong and Stephanie Hsu, is now produced by Dan Kwan, Mike Larocca, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Daniel Scheinert, and Jonathan Wang. The executive producers are Eli Bush, Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Josh Rudnick.

Lastly, there is Men, a play written by Alex Garland to direct which is now being produced by Eli Bush, Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich. There is no cast on the one. A24 is now listed as the sole producer and distributor.
