This is the objective that pursues the new Strategic Medicine Plan Personalized Precision that refers to the Health Care Council and supports a change in the prevention and treatment of number of patients and patients who are distinguished by their genetics, their susceptibility to pathology to respond to a determined treatment.
The strategy, which is being worked on for the light of this year 2021 and which will be implanted in a progressive manner, will affect both patients who have rare diseases, such as oncological processes and other hereditary diseases, according to the Sanitary Council.
The planning is based on a new vision of medicine, a paradigm shift that is being carried out in a more precise clinical setting, as well as in diagnostic treatment, which is adjusted to a single patient, which will be returned to the best of quality, reduce adverse effects and advance in safety.
With these conditions, and in the manner of the “vertiginoso advancement of technology”, the plan will include 13 strategic lines that include the development of the service map and resource map; parameters to ensure the compliment of the estates; implement technology for the diagnosis of genetic bases, while incorporating new specialties into the system such as Clinical Genetics or Bioinformatics.
Objectives also pass by the compliment of ethical standards, information maneuver on a large scale; study of the variability of the response to pharmacies, and aspects related to the cooperation, the coordination of professionals and the training.
