A New York man with ties to Roger Stone and ties to the far-right militia, the Oath Keepers, was arrested by federal agents in January on charges of Capitol riots, law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case told News 4 on Monday. said.
Roberto Minuta, 36, is expected in federal court in White Plains later that day.
Minuta, a tattoo artist, was earlier identified by CNN and others as providing security to Stone on the morning of January 6 before the riots. He was arrested Saturday at a business in the Newburgh area.

Law enforcement officials also identified another man on Monday who is now facing charges in the Capitol riots: 32-year-old Isaac Sturgeon of Dillon, Montana. Sturgeon was arrested at JFK airport on Saturday and returned from Kenya, officials said.
He is reportedly seen on camera footage emitting barricades on the day of the riot and faces several related charges, including physical violence and obstruction, as well as civilian disorder.
Sturgeon is expected to appear in federal court in Brooklyn later Monday. Prosecutors plan to ask a judge to detain him without hanging a bond. He is represented by Federal Public Defender Ashley Burrell, who has not been contacted by News 4 New York.

The owner of the lawn business of Montana allegedly flew to Kenya on January 24, eight days after his photo was added to the FBI’s website of wanted suspects related to the riot. According to court documents, he was supposed to return to the US in April, but was ordered by Kenyan officials to deport him. It was then that he flew into New York on Saturday and was picked up by federal officers.
More than 300 people, including members of extremist groups Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, have been charged with federal crimes in connection with the riot in Capitol. Federal agents are still investigating and hundreds more suspects are free. Justice Department officials said they could charge some with insurgency.
Five people were killed, including a Capitol police officer and a woman shot by police.
