Of course, the hunting monsters are cool and all. But I think the best part of the Monster Hunter games are all good food. Like the great “Chef’s Choice Platter” of Monster Hunter World, recently recreated by the YouTube channel Binging With Babish.
It should be noted that I have never played a Monster Hunter games. So my only real experience with the series is snapshots of the food on Twitter, this video and the one time I played the video Monster Hunter World beta / demo for 10 minutes and never went back. But I still love the meals!
If you see it all put together, it really shows how much of the amount is being cut cook montages you see in the game. Imagine if you had to wait real time for the cats to put it all together. Then a game where you wait for people to make food for you sounds nice. Or maybe I just went crazy after not eating in a restaurant for more than a year thanks to covid-19.
Anyway, if you want to make it yourself, my advice is: do not do it. But if some of this giant meal looked good, here is a handy link to a text version of the same meal, with each part of it separate instructions.
