Publix vaccine appointments available. February 15 fully booked by 08:00

FLORIDA – Registration for appointments by Publix to get a COVID-19 vaccine opened online at 7am on Monday morning.

All appointments in Lee, Charlotte and Collier County were booked.

If you could not make an appointment, come and see us again on Wednesday, February 17 at 07:00 for your next opportunity.

Appointments were available through the Publix vaccination registration site.

People 65 and older and health workers may be eligible for appointments in several Florida counties.

Publix advised people to does not leave the page because if room is available, they will be automatically redirected to a page with instructions on how to book an appointment.

Publix has updated their vaccination registration page to show a countdown timer for each time the page will refresh and a number of available appointments along each country.

Vaccination settings are scheduled online only. Appointments can not made by calling Publix or Publix Pharmacy.

Publix officials ask people to be patient because there will be a large number of people who want to register online at the same time. For every appointment available, there are at least ten customers trying to sign up for the same appointment, said Maria Brous, director of communications at Publix.

Note the time change when registration will reopen on Friday.

Publix said they are actively involved with customers Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Customers can also call the Publix Helpline at 1-800-242-1227 after 9 p.m.
