Prince Charles ‘is anything but a racist’, the royal filmmaker claims: ‘He must be shocked and sad’

Harry told Winfrey the royal family cut him off financially in early 2020 after he planned to retire from his roles. But he was able to afford security for his family because of the money left behind by his late mother, Princess Diana.

He said his relationship with Charles was affected. He even remarked that the patriarch had stopped taking his calls.

“There’s a lot to work through,” Harry said of his relationship with his father. “I feel really disappointed. He’s been through something similar before. He knows how pain feels. And Archie is his grandson. I will always love him, but there is a lot of pain that has happened.”
