Popeyes trolls Taco Bell over his ‘Chicken Sandwich Taco’ item, suggests an alternative idea

Taco Bell’s latest announcement comes as more restaurants prepare to enter the “chicken bread wars” and compete with the ever-popular Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s are among those preparing to launch their own new offerings (all of which look like the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich).

Even KFC – a restaurant run by Taco Bell’s parent company Yum! Brands – has expanded its latest chicken sandwiches nationwide to restaurants.
