Police say ‘everything clear’ at two separate Walmart stores after bomb threats

SAN ANTONIO According to San Antonio police, two Walmart stores received the “everything clear” after receiving bomb threats on Sunday night.

According to officials, Walmart stores located at Austin Highway 1430 and 2100 Southeast Loop 410. At about 9:45 p.m., police said customers and employees could be admitted to both stores.

Police said the shipment initially received two calls on their non-emergency number, stating that several explosive devices would explode at both stores at any one time.

Officers arrived at both Walmart locations, set up a perimeter, and all employees and customers were evacuated.

Bomb sniffer dogs were also deployed at both stores to aid the investigation.

According to police, no explosive devices were found in any of the stores, and no injuries were reported.
