Police – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The bodies of six people were found early Monday morning in a home in Allen in an apparent mass murder, police said.

Officers were asked to conduct a welfare check at about 1 a.m. at a home on the 1500 block of Pine Bluff Drive. When officers entered the residence, they discovered the bodies of six people.

The names and ages of the victims have not been confirmed, but police said they include a grandparent, two parents and three children.

“It looks like two teenage boys have reached an agreement that they will commit suicide and that they will take their family members with them,” Allen told police. Jon Felty told KRLD-AM on Monday morning.

It was not confirmed when the deaths occurred.

Felty said there is no threat to the neighborhood and that there are no problems at home, reports KRLD.

The family, Felty said, apparently emigrated from Bangladesh.
