Outdoor demonstration Get a piece, legendary will be harder to farm

People Can Fly is patching the Outriders demo to address player activity and fix bugs. One big change will make it harder to farm legendary items in the demo after players discover an ‘outdoor cave’ amid other unintended achievements. The full notes can be found on Reddit, where a Square Enix representative notes that the popular demo has been downloaded by more than 2 million players since its February 25 launch.

Later today, an update will appear from the back that will adjust the statistics of mob health and prevent players from farming legendary items with an advantage. With this exploitation, players could load a mission, loot and repeat a trio of chests. People Can Fly has now made it so that coffins will no longer drop legendary loot, and that stores and vendors will also not contain epic items. Alternatively, repetitions of his quest will now offer the chance to drop legendary loot, to spur a more orchard farming method. The report notes that some of the benefits found were not ‘within the spirit of the game’, so the developers intervene.

People Can Fly also warned that those who used the demo exploit could affect their progress in the main game when it launches next month. “Although we have balanced the main game with a certain progression system, this progress may be affected by heavy farming of equipment and / or mods in the demo,” the report reads. “Since some players are already preloading a lot of the progress (such as trying to fill out their fashion library or obtaining several legendary games) within the demo content, their experience of parts of the main game may be affected.”

A patch that will appear early next week will also implement requested features such as a Motion Blur switch and load time and frame rate adjustments, as well as fix various crashes on all platforms. People can fly, looking forward to a number of issues to address, including camera shakes on screens, items disappearing from the inventory of players and cheaters.
