MOKENA, IL – One person is in custody after a fight led to a security guard pulling out his gun at Urban Air, 19800 La Grange Road in Mokena, interim chief Tim McCarthy told Patch.
The security guard approached a guest at the business to turn down their music, and the guest refused, McCarthy said. According to police, a physical fight started and the security guard pulled their weapon when the gas grabbed into a bag.
The gas did not have a weapon, McCarthy said.
A panic ensued when the security guard pulled out their weapon, but no shots were ever fired, McCarthy said. Numerous 911 calls were fired, and several police agencies responded to the scene, police said.
Charges depend on one person in custody, McCarthy said.
