Olivia Wilde praises Harry Styles for the role of female supporting role – deadline

Olivia Wilde took to Instagram on Monday to praise Harry Styles’ work in her current directorial effort, Do not worry Honey. Wilde was fully committed to creating a level playing field on set as part of her ‘no a ** holes policy’.

She says: “Most male actors do not want to play supporting roles in films directed by women.” Of the singer Styles, who acted in the film focusing on Florence Pugh’s character, she remarked: ‘He not only enjoyed the opportunity to keep the brilliant @florencepugh as’ Alice’ at the center, but he did each scene with a nuanced amount of applied sense of humanity. ”

The praise for Styles comes after he replaced Shia LaBeouf in the film last fall.

The director previously praised Pugh, calling her a ‘director’s dream’ and praising her ‘Tom Cruise run + Meryl skills’ for the project.

Wilde posted another photo of DP, Libatique, on Sunday, which appears to have been packaged.

Do not worry Honey stars Pugh, Styles, Chris Pine, KiKi Layne, Gemma Chan and Nick Kroll with Wilde playing a supporting role. The film has a screenplay by Carey and Shane Van Dyke rewritten by Wilde’s Booksmart partner Katie Silberman.
