Oatly’s Super Bowl commercial shirt for haters will be in stock in less than 24 hours

The creative team behind Oatly seems to have a sense of humor.

In less than 24 hours, the vegan dairy company has designed a shirt that refers to its unconventional Super Bowl ad and made it available on its website.

The white short-sleeved t-shirt contains the CEO of the company Petersson, along with the text that says, “I totally hated the oatmeal ad.”

Petersson made his Super Bowl debut with a 30-second ad in which he sings about the brand’s oat milk.

‘It’s like milk / made for humans’, he sang for a while and also played a keyboard in an open oat field. “It’s like milk / but, made for humans.”

“Wow, wow, no cow,” gird Petersson later as the tempo picked up.

WHAT IS OAT MILK? AND IS IT HEALTHY?

The ad elicited strong reaction from social media users who expressed whether they love or hate the ad.

“Lol weird ad, but I like @oatly,” wrote record label and songwriter Questlove.

On the other hand, Derek Thompson, writer and journalist, joked that the Oatly ad inspired him to drink cow’s milk.

“I haven’t had real milk in months, but the Oatly ad is reconsidering me,” he tweeted.

Even though the internet seems to be divided over Oatly’s marketing tactics and Petersson’s singing, the brand’s Super Bowl t-shirt was completely out of stock from Monday night.
