NY Governor Andrew Cuomo Accused of Unwanted Sexual Progress by Third Woman

A third woman has accused the New York government, Andrew Cuomo, of making undesirable progress.

According to The New York Times, 33-year-old Anna Ruch claimed that Cuomo asked her to kiss her during a wedding in 2019. In an interview, she said Cuomo put his hand on her bare lower back.

Ruch said she pulled away and was “so confused and shocked and embarrassed” about the incident. “I turned my head away and at that moment had no words,” she apparently said.

A Cuomo spokesman reportedly referred the Times to a more general statement in which Cuomo apologized for things that were ‘misinterpreted as an unwanted flirtation’.

In the past week, two of Cuomo’s former assistants have accused him of sexual harassment – something he has denied.

The latest allegation comes when Attorney General Letitia James announced that the governor’s office had sent a letter allowing her office to conduct an independent investigation.

Democratic politicians in the state, however, have already begun asking for Cuomo’s resignation after other accusations surfaced. Charlotte Bennett, a 25-year-old former co-worker, claims Cuomo talked about his willingness to have relationships with women in their 20s.

Prior to Bennett’s allegation, Cuomo’s assistant Lindsey Boylan published a blog post accusing the governor of unwanted touching and kissing.

Cuomo’s office did not immediately respond to a request from Fox News for comment.
