New York City woman’s face bitten in a street attack by a group of men

A New York woman has said she feels attacked by animals after a group of men attacked her in Harlem and bit her face and broke her skin, according to NBC New York.

The woman, 31, who has not yet been publicly identified, was also beaten, spat on and robbed during the attack, which happened near a liquor store in the Manhattan neighborhood, NBC New York reported.

While stopping at a liquor store in West Harlem at about 6 p.m. Monday, the woman said the men offered to buy her a bottle of wine, but that she politely refused.

Video shared by the New York Police Department shows the men surrounding her outside the store, and this is where she said they attacked her.

“I could not believe it, it was like an animal. That’s the only way I can put it, it was like an animal,” the woman told NBC New York.

While being bitten and spat at during the attack, someone stole her $ 750 phone.

“I just remember how I screamed to my lungs, I just kept saying ‘He bites me! He bites me!’ she said. “He bit through my eyebrow, and then he went on, he kept his mouth open to try to grab again.”

Since the attack, the woman has told NBC New York that her mind is no longer ‘normal mind’.

“It was like they wanted to demean me by spitting on me and kicking me,” she said.

There is currently a $ 2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the woman’s attackers.
