New Call Of Duty update balances Black Ops outbreak mode for zombies in the Cold War

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s latest update is live; developer Treyarch has released the full notes. The update implements bug fixes and objective tuning to Zombies, and the patch notes also include some details about the return of the cult-favorite Dead Ops Arcade mode, which will be made in the first person.

The update focuses on the new Outbreak mode of Zombies, which is a collaborative variation in the open world of Call of Duty’s traditional zombies. Instead of fighting hordes of zombies in a series of rounds, Outbreak gives a team of players the task of achieving a series of objectives in any order they want, across a large open space full of zombies.

In the patch notes, Treyarch details what players can expect in Rapid Fire Moshpit and Dead Ops Arcade: First Person, both of which will appear on March 4 in Black Ops Cold War. Rapid Fire Moshpit is a playlist compiled from Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint, but only on the smallest maps of the game. Dead Ops Arcade: First Person remakes Dead Ops Arcade 3 – it’s only being played in the first person.

      • Addressed an issue where the Chopper Gunner could fly out of play after multiple uses.
    • Arms
      • An issue addressed within which Ray Gun splash damage could break all the armor if the player Jugger-Still Tiers III, IV and V.
