Netflix tests a sleep timer on Android

If you like watching an episode or two of a show before you walk away, Netflix’s latest feature may be helpful. It tests a sleep clock feature on Android devices.

A selected number of users will see a watch icon when they look at something. When you tap it, you can select a time setting between 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or at the end of the episode or movie you are streaming. After that time, the app will stop playing the video.

If the test is successful and Netflix users accept the feature, the company can implement it according to other devices The edge. The sleep timer is currently only available for adult profiles.

Many other apps have bedtime devices, including audio-oriented apps like Spotify, Pocket Casts, and Pandora. Frequent nodding while watching Netflix can help you not wake up without a reduced battery charge on your device. It should be easier to also keep your place in a series, as episodes will not continue to play while you sleep.
