GRAFTON (WLS) – About 500 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine had to be discarded in Wisconsin.

About fifty vials of vaccine were left overnight at a Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.
While some vaccines were administered to workers within the 12-hour cooling period, most had to be discarded due to the temperature requirements.

The Department of Health Services in Wisconsin said it does not know this is happening elsewhere in the state, but finds the situation disappointing and deplorable.
