The news that NBCSN will be in effect by the end of the year has been confused and surprised by some people (and in some cases superfluous). After all, NBCSN only took second place in ESPN’s primary network for sports cables in 2018. But for the postponement of the Olympic Games, NBCSN would have ended up in the same place in 2020.
Why then draw a lucrative five-letter sports network? It is part of a strategy aimed at growth and expansion, not shrinkage and surrender.
USA Network is likely to emerge as a similar force as TNT, with a mix of sports and non-sports programming. Already in six million more homes than NBCSN, the relocation of certain sporting events to USA Network immediately raises their profile and raises the status of USA Network.
Then there’s Peacock, the ever new streaming service that continues to grow, thanks to the exclusive presence of all nine seasons of The office – along with extended episodes for the entire third season, and more seasons of extended episodes to come. Last August, the live edition of PFT Live moved from NBCSN to Peacock as part of this transition to a model that provides access to many sports-based shows (such as PFT Live and its afternoon component, PFT PM) free, without cable or satellite packages.
This is where life is PFT Live show has been going on for months, and this is where it will be happy. It will also be available for rebroadcast at your convenience.
For those who do not want to pay for another streaming service, much of the content is on Peacock (including the Sports channel with PFT Live, The Dan Patrick Show, The Rich Iron Show, Brother of another, PFT PM and more) is free. For $ 4.99 per month, the premium content (including all The office and many, many more) can be unlocked. For $ 9.99 a month, it can all be consumed without ads.
But we still do not want to pay for another streaming service. Well, then do not; try Peacock and ask yourself, “Do I like it better than any of my other streaming services?”
If you do, keep peacock and ditch one of the others. If you do not, you can still maintain the free level of Peacock, including free access to our shows.

We have not forgotten our remarkably strong following in the UK and Ireland. PFT Live will still be broadcast on Sky Sports NFL at 7pm local time. Every Wednesday, PFT PM is currently airing live at 10pm local time. (If you want more nights, get more people to watch it on Wednesdays.)
