Authorities in New Mexico have arrested a man after he allegedly threatened a McDonald’s worker with a gun in the driveway. The suspect was apparently upset about a mistake in his order and apparently responded by pulling the weapon.

Estevan Gonzalez is accused of pulling a gun over an Albuquerque McDonald’s worker after a mistake was made with his order.

The incident took place at a McDonald’s in Albuquerque last week, reports KOB 4. The suspect, Estevan Gonzalez, allegedly drove up to the door window to complain that there was a problem with his order.

According to the woman working on the window, they replaced his meal. Gonzales then got back in line and allegedly pulled out a gun and pointed at the employee. When authorities arrived on the scene, Gonzalez apparently fled.

Police helicopters followed him until officers could overtake him and arrest him. When he was arrested, Gonzalez reportedly told officers he was “only trying to get a McDonald’s hamburger.”
The Albuquerque Journal reports that prosecutors have filed a motion to detain Gonzalez for trial. He faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

In the motion, obtained by the newspaper, prosecutors wrote that Gonzalez, “not only endangered the victim’s life, but that he did it in an insignificant way – to get the wrong order from McDonald’s No one needs to live in fear of being threatened with a gun while at work, nor should the community live in fear of witnessing a crime while trying to get food through a driveway not. ‘
