Musicians with tattoos dedicated to their loved ones

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian

After Kardashian made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine’s Day, Kardashian showed off her new nail art and the Blink 182 drummer’s new body art that of her name on Friday (April 9).

Luke Bryan and Caroline Boyer

During the visit to the American Idol Jason Aldean on Monday let fans know that Luke Bryan “tattooed his wife’s initials on his back”. But it’s not the only body finch he has with Caroline Boyer’s name: the ‘Country Girl’ singer told Good Housekeeping in a 2013 interview that they had each other’s initials inked on their ring fingers on Valentine’s Day.

Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr

The country singer himself put his wife’s nickname “Britt” on his wrist in 2019. It looks like she will always be his right hand man.

Matthew Koma and Hilary Duff

The “Kisses Back” singer-songwriter speaks of brutal ink and honors his wife with a tattoo on his back that reads “Hilary” that he got in September last year. “Good luck winning a fight with your wife if her name is tattooed on your back cheek,” he captioned the photo on Instagram.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian

The country singer colored ‘The Only One That Matters’ on her foot in January 2012, one year after she and Cibrian announced their engagement, in December 2010, and we know the only one it can be about.

P! Nk and Carey Hart

The artist “U + Ur Hand” and Hart got matching “Tru Luv” tattoos on their second date, she says The Independent. Some may say that it is too soon, but what then? The couple eventually married in 2006, divorced in 2008, again in 2010 and have lived together for a decade later. Sounds to me like “tru luv”.

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith

To her late boyfriend, the Glee alum colored the number 5 on the side of her rib cage in 2016. “And another .. for my Quarterback .. # 5,” she wrote a caption to her IG post. Anyone familiar with the hit series for musical comedy dramas knows that number 5 adorned the back of Finn Hudson’s soccer jersey at McKinley High, which portrayed Monteith for four seasons.

Victoria and David Beckham

The Spice Girls alum and pro soccer player can be considered the king and queen of love-inspired tats. She had Roman numerals VIII-V-MMVI tattooed on her right wrist, representing the date of the renewal of their wedding vows on May 8, 2006; translating the Latin phrase to ‘Again from the beginning’ in honor of their family’s new life in America when they moved to the LA Galaxy for her husband’s departure; his initials “DB” on her left wrist; translates the Hebrew phrase to “Together, forever, ever,” right above its initials, in honor of their tenth wedding anniversary; and another Hebrew poem translated to ‘I am my beloved and my beloved is mine’ on her back. She has completed these romantic tributes – especially her backside – but the removal of her David-inspired ink has nothing to do with the state of their marriage, and more to do with cleaning up her physical aesthetics.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey

Before their wedding in 2008, the two lovebirds promised that they would have each other forever – and had each other’s names tattooed on their backs. The Nick Cannon Show host wore a giant “Mariah” emblem over his back, while Grammy superstar ‘Mrs. Cannon ‘in the middle of a butterfly wrote on her. Cannon later addressed their divorce and his tattoo during a 2014 interview. He decided to honor Jesus who always had his back by proposing a massive religious design in place of ‘Mariah’. As for the Butterfly singer, she changed the butterfly design on her low back so that his name was completely covered.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson

Just like her co-star “Stuck With You,” Grande covers her “Pete” tattoo on her ring finger dedicated to her former fiancé with a black heart with an arrow in 2018. Caught with you, no more.

She also covers the “8418” she dyed on her left foot, which symbolizes the number of the firefighter sign of Davidson’s father, who died on 9/11, with “Myron”, the name of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller’s dog which Grande ingested after his untimely death in 2018. She points to the new “Myron” ink in the behind-the-scenes video of her ‘Thank You, Next’ music video.

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez

The three-time Grammy-winning Latin artist had his ex-wife’s name “Jennifer” tattooed on his right wrist, which he later smeared with tribal art after their 2011 divorce.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand

In June 2010, the pop star and her then-fiancé got matching Sanskrit tattoos on the inside of their right biceps meaning “Go with the flow.” Follow the Get Him to the Greek according to the actor’s proposal in India during their Jaipur holiday, the former couple untied the knot during a traditional Hindu ceremony in October before saying goodbye two years later.
