The Daily Beast said they spoke of five seasons with five other cast members, including Tirannie Todd and Hayden Weaver, which confirmed parts of Gianna’s story.
Tirannie claims she heard Gianna trying to drive away the male co – star’s progress, and at one point she noticed he was on top of Gianna.
“I’m just like the f – k?” Todd remembers. “We went there to try to get him away from her, because we were like, ‘This is weird.’ I remember I was just always really very angry because we knew Gianna was being used. I can clearly remember it as he was on her day and turned around, like, ‘What is the fk? It’s not cool. “
Hayden, who went out with Gianna two years after the show and shared a son with her, said he sees Gianna going into the bedroom to lie down. Although he went outside, he claimed to have a clear view of the bedroom.
“I remembered looking at the room at one point and there was a camera where Gianna was lying,” he recalled. “I could not see what exactly they were filming. I just assumed they were getting a few shots of people falling asleep that they could edit for the show. I later realized that [the male cast member] started touching her basically and they filmed it as if it was like a connection. ‘
After Gianna tried to put the pieces together, her feelings towards the male contestant became complicated.
“I did not know how to feel about it and there is still a part of me that I still do not know how to feel about it,” she said. “I do have anger for him, but I think I will never ever feel that he had a malicious intent. I do not think it was something he planned to do.”
Gianna hopes that sharing her story will help others with similar experiences as she does.
“I have not said anything all these years while it was being broadcast and while it was still fresh in everyone’s minds because I was scared,” she said. ‘I might as well just get on with it and share my experience. [It’s] lifts a lot off my shoulders. I felt that this was not something I should secretly carry on my back or feel ashamed that it had happened. ‘
She later added: “At the end of the day, I would hope that anyone interested in doing reality TV would be able to hear it and just know that it is important to be able to stay on their own.”
