Mrs. Ireland awards Mrs World after controversy in which the previous winner was arrested

After controversy the ruling Mrs. World title holder led to resign, Ireland’s Kate Schneider was crowned the new winner.

Mrs. World Inc. said that Caroline received Jurie’s resignation after she received the crown of the head of a Mrs. during the beauty pageant. Sri Lanka participant deducted. That action prompted the organization to appoint the first runner-up, Mrs. Ireland, the new Mrs. World 2020 to be crowned.

Jurie relinquished her title earlier this month while defending her decision to crown the head of Mrs. Sri Lanka title holder Pushpika De Silva, who she said was unqualified to take part in the match on April 4 because she was divorced. .

De Silva said she was divorced from her husband but not divorced.

Jurie, who is also Sri Lankan, is accused of injuring De Silva in the television competition. Four days later, she was arrested on charges of ‘simple wounded and criminal violence’ and later released on bail.

The jury said she was up against ‘injustice’ and that the competition was ‘contaminated’. She said she wants to ensure that every participant has equal opportunities.

Mrs. World Inc. said in a statement Tuesday that Jurie’s “voluntary resignation decision was made only by Caroline herself.”

The incident during the competition, which was attended by the wife of the Prime Minister, created a commotion in Sri Lanka that led to the last Mrs. World event will be hosted this year.
