Meghan Markle’s close friend says there is evidence that the royals know about her struggle

Meghan Markle’s longtime friend calls BS on the British royal family’s claim that its members were unaware of the struggle the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry were facing.

Actor Janina Gavankar, who has known Markle for 17 years, appeared on the British TV show “This Morning” on Wednesday to support her friend and contradicts a statement made by Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The statement, released on behalf of Queen Elizabeth, said: “The whole family is saddened to learn how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” and that “the issues, especially the race, are related to, “While suggesting” some memories may vary. “

During Wednesday’s interview, Gavankar disputed the royals ‘claim that’memories can vary. ”

‘[Our recollections] do not [vary] because we went through it with them, ‘Gavankar said, adding that’ there are a lot of emails and texts to support it. ‘

Although Gavankar said she was not sure who Markle had asked for help with her suicidal thoughts, she insisted the family and staff know it.

Gavankar also denied allegations that Markle had bullied members of the royal staff.

“I have known her for 17 years and have seen how she views the people around her, and I can say that she is not a bully,” Gavankar said. “But I can also say that I am personally glad that people are doing their due diligence, because I also know why someone had to leave, and that was due to serious misconduct.”

At one point, co-host Philip Schofield asked Gavankar why her friend decided to ‘nuke’ the royal family, and she pushed back.

‘I do not think the intention was to’ nuke ‘them. “I think in the end it was just a chance to tell their truth,” Gavankar said. Meghan has always been a very open person. She always shared parts of herself the way we always do. But that all changed when she joined the family. We watched a wall being built around her. She was very isolated. ”

Gavankar, who said she watched Sunday’s interview with Meghan and Harry, said the couple felt free, and “now they can return to what they were really focused on.”
