Meghan Markle changes her name on Archie’s birth certificate

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tracked down Prince Archie’s birth certificate – with Markle erasing her first name and adding both royal honors.

After Archie was born in 2019, many royal viewers first learned Markle’s real first name – Rachel – when his birth certificate was announced.

The latest copy of the document, obtained by The UK Sun, shows that Markle edited the certificate about a month after Archie’s birth on 6 May 2019, named ‘Rachel Meghan’.

Now she is referred to as ‘Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.’

Prince Harry also added ‘Prince’ to the document to complete his title ‘His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex’. ‘

One-year-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is seventh in line to the throne.

The reviews were done a few days before the Sussex announced they would sever ties with the charity they shared with Kate Middleton and Prince William amid rumors of a rift between the brothers and their wives.

Meanwhile, Harry’s summer travel plans to London have been announced.

He is expected to fly there in June to attend, among other things, his grandfather Prince Phillip’s 100th birthday party and the Trooping of the Color. Meghan and Archie are expected to stay with the couple in Los Angeles.

The couple deviated from the daily royal duties last year and moved to the US in an ordeal called ‘Megxit’.
